Atalanta e Meleagro, (Berlin 1797)

Aria # 10 “Bella de’ Boschi diva” preceded by recit “Stelle qual”

Tenor, (or soprano - see below), fagotto obl., strings, oboes, horns.

This is almost certainly the aria that is mentioned in the Allgemeine Musikalische Zeitung

(see text below) vol 7 page 517 of 1st May 1805, sung by a soprano, with the

obbligato played by Carl Bärmann (1782-1842).  For details of Bärmann’s career, see
